Thanks Sujata Hi Sujata, This new is a week old now and the person who have been taken to court by his Ex wife clearly told the reason why she is doing it.
It is my character in question if I'm married and still use the allowance to take out some other person on DATE. If we keep these things in mind, I can sue my company for providing me telephone allowance.( I can click photographs and can get caught in some scam) This is all upto our maturity. Cheers Archna Hey Archna Actually this paper was on my colleague desk and I didn't noitce date.
One of India's leading software companies Wipro has denied giving employees "dating allowances".
"We would like to categorically state we don't have a dating allowance in any form and hence cannot elaborate on this alleged issue.
We have no formal intimation on this," a statement issued by the company said.
Some Wipro employees that the BBC spoke to said that they did not receive any dating allowance.
Her husband was going on date with one lady because his company is providing dating allowance to him. NIIT is one of the companies I know which started giving this dating allowance but there is no case on the company.
I have just come across a news which says a lady whose husband is working in Wipro. Dating allowance is given by many companies but then companies may not be blamed for what employees do.
Now, she is going to raise questions on her husband as well as on Azim Premji. If I am given an allowance by our company, it is upto me how I utilise it and not company.
But Nandlal Jaiswal, the lawyer for the complainant, Tripti Nigam, who lives in Kanpur, alleges that Wipro pays her husband an allowance for dating and this, according to the lawyer, is leading to "moral degradation" in society.
On being asked if he was taking too simplistic a stand by blaming the company for problems between the couple, Mr Jaiswal said: "The company is co-operating by giving the husband a monetary allowance to mix with other women." Ms Nigam filed a case earlier in the week against her husband, Gaurav Nigam, who is a software engineer with Wipro in Bangalore, under the newly introduced Domestic Violence Act.
The court in Kanpur in the northern state of Uttar Pradesh has summoned Wipro chief, Azim Premji, and other company officials to respond.
Wipro is India's third-biggest software company which employs thousands of people in its offices around India.
I was simply reading the news of Sanjay Dutt : D and suddenly shocked to know the other news which was beside it.
